7 years ago, we met through some mutual friends, and have been together ever since! In the last 7 years we have grown up together, travelled to many different places, moved in together, bought a house, and now, we're getting ready to tie the knot! Seyi popped the question in Santorini, Greece in September 2023, and now we're planning our wedding in stunning Portugal. We're super excited to celebrate this big day with all our wonderful family and friends!

Wedding Attire: Guests are kindly asked to wear semi-formal attire appropriate for warm weather. We kindly ask our guests to refrain from wearing attire in all shades of white or similar to white, as well as black.

On our special day, your presence is truly the greatest gift we could ask for. Should you wish to contribute in some other way, we would be honoured if you consider helping us create amazing memories by contributing to our honeymoon.

For your convenience, we have secured a special rate for accommodations at the Melia Braga Hotel & Spa: €139 for a single room or €154 for a double room per night, which includes breakfast. All wedding guests are invited to utilize the shuttle bus service provided from the Melia Braga Hotel & Spa to the wedding venue and return. This service is available to all guests, irrespective of their accommodation arrangements. Free parking is available at the venue for guests who prefer to drive.

Traveling to Braga for the wedding? Here's what you need to know: The closest international airport to Braga is Porto Airport (Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport), located approximately 50 kilometers away. Porto to Braga By Car: If you prefer the flexibility of driving, renting a car in Porto is a convenient option. The journey from Porto to Braga takes approximately 45 minutes to one hour, depending on traffic. Parking facilities are available at most hotels and public areas in Braga. By Train: Trains depart regularly from São Bento station in Porto, and the journey takes around one hour. By Bus: Several bus companies operate services between Porto and Braga. The journey typically takes around one hour, depending on traffic conditions.

2 to 3 days either side of the wedding should provide ample time to explore Braga to experience its rich history and cultural attractions. For those of you planning an extended stay, we highly recommend taking the opportunity to explore some of the incredible cities and attractions nearby. From the historic charm of Porto to the picturesque vineyards of the Douro Valley, there's so much to discover in this beautiful region of Portugal.

1. Can I bring a plus one? Unfortunately, unless it states on your save the date/invitation there are no additional plus ones. 2. What will the weather be like this time of year? The weather will be around 24 degrees in June in Braga, Portugal 3. Will there be food and drinks served? Yes, there will be food served during the cocktail hour, dinner reception and a late night snack. Menu & Dietary information to follow with formal invitation. We will also have an Open Bar serving drinks from guest arrival until the very end of the night! 4. Can we take photos at the ceremony? We are having an unplugged ceremony. We kindly ask all guests not to use their phones or take pictures during the ceremony. We have hired a great photographer and videographer to capture the moment. After the ceremony all guests are welcome to take as many pictures and videos as they like! 5. What happens after the ceremony? After the ceremony the bridal party will be taking pictures while the guests can enjoy our cocktail hour reception. Once pictures are done, the bridal party will re-join all the guests for the party! 6. Are children allowed? While we cherish every one of your little ones, we've opted to make this weekend exclusively for adults. Our intention is to ensure that everyone can unwind and relish in the joyous occasion without any distractions. We are deeply grateful for our guests who have made prior arrangements for their children to join us on our special day, and we truly appreciate their understanding.
